Blackdown Benefice
The Blackdown Benefice website’s purpose is to share news and publicise what’s happening in the five parishes that make up the Benefice.
Each parish has nominated a person responsible for submitting articles which are then reviewed centrally before being published. Unpublished articles are not visible before verification.
Visitors to the website can register and this gives them the opportunity to sign up for email updates. These updates are sent once a week and contain a teaser with a link to take them to read the article in full on the website.
There is also a facility for authorised people to enter events which will then appear on the website with rich filtering and search capabilities.
